Hello Ms. Shay you may not remeber me but my name is Kaleah Riley and I am one of the children you came and spoke with at Medical Arts High School. I would like to say that what you are doing is the most wonderful and beautiful thing ever. You are saving many lives and inspiring and opening peoples eyes about an issue that many do not take seriously. I am extremely apologetic about your loss. I can't even begin to say that I understand the pain you went through because no one can understand a mother's love. But I do want to take this oppurtunity to thank you for opening my eyes because i did not know mental illness was fatal but now that i do know I can now have the chance to help others just as you are doing all thanks to you. Hi Ms. Shay. I just wanted to share my condolences with you. It must be very hard to lose a child,but you were VERY strong for even coming to our school and talking about it. The way you spoke about your son and the disorder brought me to tears. I wanted to tell you thank you for doing that because I have a cousin who has a mental illness, and you have opened my eyes a lot today with your information. I thank you very much for that.
